TOGETHER WE CAN IMPACT THE WORLD

Rotaract Club

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. As one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest-growing service programs, with more than 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon.

The Norman Rotary Club is pleased to announce the start of a new on-campus Rotaract Club at the University of Oklahoma. Rotaract is designed for all university students who have a desire to address their communities’ physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.

As a member of the OU Rotaract Club, you will have the opportunity to impact your community in a number of ways while developing new friendships and gaining valuable experiences. You will also gain a greater understanding of international needs and how Rotary clubs all over the world are working together to make a difference. As a Rotaractor, you will have the opportunity to assist in organizing Interact clubs for high school students, become an Interactor mentor, participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) and become a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar or Group Study Exchange team member. There are no dues, and the club expenses are covered by the Norman Rotary Club.

Rotaract meetings are held once a month, typically on a Tuesday, at 8:00pm in room 3150 in the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord College of Journalism.
