TOGETHER WE CAN IMPACT THE WORLD

Fundraisers

The Norman Rotary Club is involved in three main projects that raise funds to benefit individuals and organizations in need. The proceeds from each fundraiser go to various service projects and initiatives in the Norman Community and across the world. These three projects include:

Citrus Sale
The Citrus Fruit Sale is Norman Rotary's annual fund-raiser that takes place in the fall and typically lasts from late October to early December. Each year, the club sells a variety of delicious fruits, ranging from oranges, grapefruits, apples and mixed fruit baskets. All proceeds from the Fruit Sale go to fund local non-profit organizations and are distributed through the Community Projects Funding committee.

Bueno Brunch

Bueno Brunch is Norman Rotary's annual spring fund-raiser that typically takes place in April at El Chico in Sooner Fashion Mall. Tickets are sold through club members and all community members are invited to come enjoy a delicious brunch at El Chico while being served by Rotarians! All proceeds from ticket sales are designated to Rotary service projects. This year's funds will go toward the PolioPlus campaign and the Bolivian Water Project.

Le Tour de Vin

Norman Rotary partners with Norman Sooner Rotary and Norman Cross-Timbers clubs to host an annual community-wide Rotary fundraiser. Typically held in early summer, Le Tour de Vin is a fabulous event that features fine wine and food, a silent and live auction and entertainment. Each year, the three clubs select a non-profit organization from the Norman community to benefit from the proceeds of Le Tour de Vin. For the Rotary years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, Thunderbird Clubhouse, an organization that aids people with mental illness related needs, has been chosen as the beneficiary.
